Responsible Person Staff: Our Direct Support staff is well trained in both identifying and supporting the needs of our residents. All staff is directly employed by Brookhouse Home, some with over 20 years of longevity, speaking well of the commitment we have to both residents and our staff.

Maintenance Department: Our highly skilled staff maintains our home and is prepared and available to respond and manage any unforeseen emergencies. We work closely with residents in encouraging them to personalize the private room reflecting their personalities and individual taste.

Brookhouse Home welcomes senior women without regard of race, creed or national origin. All residents enjoy the privacy of their own room, furnished and decorated with their own belongings that promote that feeling of personal space. We also offer respite services for women who may require supervised supports for shorter periods of stay.

We encourage and support our residents in maintaining family and life long relationships. Living at Brookhouse provides residents the opportunity to leave for overnight and short vacation periods without risk of losing their residency.

The first residence for senior women in Salem is today’s finest example of a Rest Home licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Our home is located in a charming Federal period mansion in the heart of old Salem’s historic district
